Although job ads may point to it bearing some similarities in terms of the combat and player progression. So far, the only official details shared about it are that it will feature an open world and be story-driven, which suggests that it won’t be a live service title like The Division games. The first thing Lucasfilm Games announced on its return was a partnership with Ubisoft, with Massive Entertainment, developer of The Division, helming an original Star Wars game. Currently, it’s scheduled to release in early 2022, so hopefully Kylo Ren doesn’t throw a temper tantrum and force another delay. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will do precisely what the name suggests and cover all nine mainline Star Wars movies.Īll but two of them have received Lego game adaptations in the past, but Traveller’s Tales has promised entirely new levels for episodes I through VII, while The Last Jedi and The Rise Of Skywalker will finally get the Lego treatment. You’d be forgiven for thinking this had already come out, but Traveller’s Tales’ next Lego game has suffered delay after delay since its 2019 announcement. It’s still coming, don’t worry (pic: Traveller’s Tales) Currently, the studio is busy with the Dead Space remake but it’s possible it’ll return to Star Wars afterwards. It was once speculated that EA Motive, the studio behind Star Wars: Squadrons, was working on a new Star Wars game, but it’s since denied this.
With EA supposedly considering making the FIFA series free-to-play in the future, perhaps it could do the same thing with Battlefront 3 if it intends to keep pushing loot boxes. While Star Wars: Battlefront 2 was mired by its loot box controversy, it eventually became a game worth playing once its DLC was finished. The first is another Star Wars: Battlefront game. As for what these projects could be, there are a couple of educated guesses. Other EA Star Wars gamesĮven if Fallen Order 2 isn’t happening (which it is), after the Lucasfilm Games announcement EA was quick to confirm that it is working on multiple Star Wars projects.
Plus, EA itself has strongly hinted that it is making a sequel. Technically speaking, EA and Respawn haven’t announced a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the hit single-player action game from 2019, but it’s basically guaranteed to happen.Īside from being a critical and commercial success, a Kotaku report published in February 2020 said that a sequel had already been greenlit. This was also my entry into Mandrproductions MOC contest that I ended up winning, so thanks to Ryan for that.Let’s get the obvious out of the way first. So PLEASE do me a favor and check those out. I released 2 YouTube video about the MOC: a cinematic showcase and a build timelapse. Would love to hear your thoughts on the creation. Some details to point out are the chairs and table, the pattern on the floors as well as the plant pots.Īll in all, I’m very happy with the MOC and I think it’s one of my best creations so far. I like the overall action and minifig positioning in the build.
I found some inspiration in some older online builds and turned them into jedi. The jedi library was a must have and I’m very happy with how that turned out.
One of the main ideas was to include a skyline view of Coruscant trough the windows and I’m quite happy with how that turned out but I could and want to improve on it at some point. First I was thinking of doing it in aurebesh (Star Wars language) but then decided to make it in regular english so that more people can read it, but still keep some sci-fi elements to the typography. I wanted to include the name Knightfall in the base of the build. I loosely based it on the old Battlefront 2, and coincidentally I finished it and published the video on the games 15th birthday. I built it entirely while home in isolation (I’m all healthy) in under 12 days. Here’s the final overview picture of my Jedi Temple Order 66 aka “Knightfall” creation.
